Why the green tax on carboard products?

I love your deodorant, its one of the only products i can use consistently without developing irritation. However, I cant help but notice the 'green tax' on your cardboard applicators. They house significantly less product for quite a higher price point. Its pretty disappointing. Please reconsider this practice.
